About Me

My name is George Plumley and I’m a presentation and media coach working out of British Columbia, Canada.

The title of this blog is a great summary of everything I work towards in my own presentations and when I’m helping clients: keep it clear, keep it passionate.

My background is in broadcasting and the study of philosophy (MA York University, MA Washington University in St. Louis). Interestingly, these two disciplines have come together very nicely in my work with presentation training. I understand what’s needed to deliver a message clearly and passionately, while I also know what it takes to create content that gets to the heart of the matter quickly, but without sacrificing accuracy and meaning.

This blog is about sharing my ideas on giving great presentations, hearing from you about your perspective, and having some fun along the way (and no pop quizzes on John Locke’s influence on contemporary realist accounts of epistemology!).
